I carry a knife all the time. Many people do.
A gentleman should always carry a knife.
Why? They're incredibly useful tools.
Knives, in my opinion, are one of the most basic EDC items. For many, the decision to carry a knife marks a transition into the EDC mindset.
I'm not sure all the origins of the question, but many who ask seem to feel that a knife is principally a weapon. No, I don't carry a knife to stab people...
There's nothing "weird" or "wrong" about carrying a knife. There is, however, something weird in chastising what others carry.
You're absolutly right, Jason!
ReplyDeleteIn the region that i come from, in Portugal, it's completly normal for a man to carry a pocket knife.
I've carried a pocket knife most of my life and feel that putting one in my pocket is as natural as carrying a pen!
ReplyDeleteIf i have pants on, i have a pocket knife or multitool, a flashlight and a pen. I'll make sure i have them before i'd grab my phone. Been doing such since i was 16, 17 years ago.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather have it and not need it, then need it and not have it. Knives as you understand are primarily a tool, secondarily used as a weapon.
